CHRISTY LANE

Box 4040 Palm Springs, CA 92263 800-555-0205 Having a deep passion for movement, Christy Lane began as a baton twirler in middle school, and then continued to cheerleading and gymnastics in high school. She started dancing with the Palm Springs Dance Company at the late age of 16, fell in love with dance, and pursued training in Los Angeles and New York. She continued her degree at CSULB while competing in college gymnastics. Having discovered a gift for teaching, Christy began touring the U.S. teaching & choreographing dance for Olympic gymnasts, national cheerleading conventions, physical educators and dance studio owners. Eventually, teachers were asking for more and Christy began producing videos and writing books always combining her talents with an expert in the field. She relocated to Eastern Washington University to finish her degree and decided to launch Class Acts Dance Academy with opening enrollment of 300 and a staff of twelve implementing new standards for teaching dance. She continued choreographing for national shows and teaching at national conventions. After connecting with incredible musicians, Christy created her own music label to produce educational dance and exercise music for the schools and now the general public. She has launched hundreds of school dance programs and has taught over 2,000,000 million students in her popular Dare to Dance Assembly program. You can find her teaching master classes, producing, writing, creating with kids, biking, hiking or swimming as she continues to move!
