How it Works:

On the bottom of each tile are female loops and male pegs on all sides that allow the tiles to snap together and create a top smooth surface.  The surface material is a high-impact polypropylene and underneath each tile is a “grid” filled with air space that creates a suspended floor design to assist in reducing injuries to ankles, knees, lower back and shins. This patented design reduces trauma on stops, starts and turns.  The unique grid structure guarantees that edges do not warp or curl up. The tile height is ½” and weighs only 14 ounces.

As with most dance floors, this floor will not hold up with loose taps.  The black slate and white slate have a shinier surface and are slightly more slippery for ballet than the other floors.  Not recommended for ballet pointe.

“Here is the perfect dance floor for many different styles of dance.  I have it in my living room, dance studio, and use is in my videos.  The quality is excellent and it looks good too!”      - Christy Lane

Installation:

No tools required.  One person can assemble any size floor.  For portable installation, you can keep the floors in 3’ x 3’ panels, but any size is possible. The installation instructions are the same as the Christy Lane Dance Floors. Click here for installation instructions.

Cleaning:

Just mop with a gentle soap and water.   There is no wax and refinishing needed.  The floor will not stain, warp or crack and has a 10 year limited warranty. Keeping the floor clean will help maintain the shine.  The floor is fungus and mildew resistant.
