The firm foam cushion tiles easily connect together with interlocking sides. For permanent installation carpet tape can be used. If a mat is damaged, simply replace with a new one. Tiles can be used outside only they will begin to fade when exposed to direct sunlight. The installation sub-surface should be tile, wood, linoleum, concrete, asphalt or wood decks. Grass, dirt, sand and gravel are not recommended. Rubber cement can be applied on any unexpected tears.
For maintenance, mild cleansers such as Windex TM are fine for lightly soiled stains. When heavily soiled, snap apart and clean each piece with a sponge, mild soap and water. Towel or air-dry. To prevent water retention between and underneath the mats, do not mop.
